Angela Knight has a great post on her blog today about Saving the Book from Hell. I love reading AK's posts because they offer me (the newb) some great insights that I think it may take me years to discover on my own.
I know that I already get bad cases of "suckitis" about the WIP I have going. And it doesn't seem to matter how many people tell me it's good.

I got the chance to go to a workshop at a conference that AK facilitated. Great! She's so funny and full of great ideas to share with other writers. I want to be part of her group as a reader, but it's so busy! Glad everything went well with e-mail.
byIt's not just you, Maura. I'm writing book 18 right now, and I always think they suck! I thought it would get easier, but no. I think we raise the bar on ourselves with every book and expect ourselves to *this time* be great. It's a lot to live up to.
